Inspired by his favourite fairy tale, Cinderella, John Galliano, then creative director of Dior, designed this so all modern Cinderellas (and their princes!) could keep an eye on the midnight hour... He envisioned the inky night sky as shimmering blue sapphire crystal and shaded mother-of-pearl, and the stars in them sparkling as a constellation of diamonds. And thus, the Christal Dazzling watch was born:
