the bracelet is neither heavy or chunky. it actually feels quite light on the wrist, but is not a fragile piece at all.
in both of the pictures, the sweet bracelet is at the first loop, meaning it's quite loose. you can't tell from the pictures but it's really loose, and slides down my hand a bit. at the last loop where it's the tightest, it's actually the best. it's still loose, but feels like it's not going anywhere (falling off my hand). i like my bracelets to move enough, but not be too loose where they'll snag easily.
My wrists are fairly thin, and i think for those thin-built ladies, the last loop would be good. i doubt anyone could put it on the last loop and it fall off! (unless you put it on a kid!)
