Hello fellow shoe enthusiasts,

I am excited to introduce myself as a long time member of this forum. I've been here since 2009 and as such am honoured to have the OG mark on my profile.
I am Richard, a gay guy from London UK, and I love high heels and all things fashion. I have always been drawn to shoes and in particular, I am a huge fan of Christian Louboutin (I have owned a few pairs over the years), but lately I'm loving what Valentino have been doing with their shoe range.

Over the years I have found it challenging to find friends who share my passions for shoes and fashion, and who accept me for who I am. That's why I am reaching out to you all today. I'm sorry if this is not the place to post this but I didnt know where else.
I would love to connect with some new friends who also love shoes and fashion, and who are accepting of my unique interests for a guy.
I am hoping to conenct with other girly friends who share my passions for shoes and who can appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into creating a beautiful pair of heels, and also how they make us, the wearer feel, when we slip into them. I love nothing more than swapping tips on the latest shoe trends, discussing styles and sharing our latest finds.

So if you are a fan of high heels, Louboutin, Valentino etc and all things fashion, Id love to hear from you.

Richard xxxx

Hi Richard,

I'm an OG too from London, love fashion and shoes but never mastered high heels, maybe because for a female I'm already quite tall. I always wanted to be able to run in heels like Carrie Bradshaw does in SATC, but unfortunately I cannot even walk in them. Saying that, the pandemic changed my habits and aspirations and now I am into trainers, I've built up a whole collection of Gucci and Golden Goose trainers.

Anyway, I just wanted to say 'hi'

Sorry for the slow reply, I'm not here as often as I used to. Another guy into CL heels. I've also got YSL and Jimmy Choo's. Not many of us out there, but we are out there.

Hi Richard,

It's lovely to read your message. I am so pleased to know that you love heels and fashion. I like looking at guys who dress fashionably and really appreciate the effort they put into it. Just last week I saw a guy wore light grey nail polish in the subway and I thought 'wow, it suits him!' You don't need people you don't even know to accept you. Just be yourself and do and wear whatever pleased you.

I am interested in looking at your heels collection if you don't mind /if you have time.

I came to this forum because I wanted to know how people can walk in their CL heels.
Some years ago, My husband bought me a pair of pigalle follies (10cm) to match with my cocktail dress
but I can hardly walk in them. But I did get compliments whenever I wore them.
Then I bought a pair of flat and a lower heels (8cm) but my husband hate them. LOL

I love and appreciate beautiful bags, shoes, clothes. Unfortunately I don't have much chance to wear them daily. I go to work daily
but my work is a very casual place. My colleagues and friends are not interested in or know anything about fashion and brands.
I don't have anyone to talk about these, that's why I come to this forum.

While I’m not a gentleman who loves shoes, I love that you love shoes and embrace that love.

Every once in a while in out and about here in Los Angeles and see a gentleman rocking a pair of heels (and it is often Louboutins!) and the joy that radiates from them is infectious.

So cheers and I love this so so so much!

Aww its so lovely to find someone else in the same position as me at not really having someone to talk to about fashion and shoes and the such. This place is lovely and warm and accepting i've realised, so its lovely to meet someone I can now chat to about shoes! YAY!
May we chat some more? xx

This is the CL forum and if we don't talk about CL shoes, not sure if the mod will throw us out. LOL
But can always PM.

Are there any CL or other heels your are eyeing? How about bags?
Oh..if you are interested in watches, we can also talk about them.

This (non-binary, with gay partner) gentleman in NYC is a major hosiery/heels enthusiast

He wears a large size, can't patronize the typical luxury brands (Loub, YSL, etc), the specialty heels are designed for men

Pretty flamboyant (mini skirts, etc), no doubt attracts attention. Could invite problems..targeting by anti-LGBTQ bigots
