A lakis question...

Today I was chatting with a lovely tpf'er about lakis. I love how functional it is with the pockets on the outside. Later on this afternoon, guess what I think I saw one!! The only reason why i wasnt sure is the lady's lakis is actually in a light lagoon color, which leads me to believe that it might be an inmitation. But it certainly makes me wonder: do lakis come in bright colors?

I have only seen lakis in black, brown and beige... But maybe was a SO..

There is now a all-leather version. Saw it at my H store.

Oh we were talking about that too earlier!! Was it a lot more expensive than the normal Kelly? And what leather is it? Do they only make box?

LOL. Busted! I've actually had it a while. It's a Travel Birkin in Ebene Clemence/Toile H combination with PHW.

No way! Much too large for everyday. It's just a weekender. It is much lighter than the all leather Travel Birkins. I'm just always afraid I will wreck the toile!

I have only seen the lakis in dark colors as well. No idea if they come in brights.

Got my hopes up though. I thought there might be a slight chance that h does do bright lakis. That would be awesome!

A Lakis in Lagon would be fantastic... My first Kelly bag was a Lakis - it is a great bag, but I never have understood why it cost a couple thousand more than a regular Kelly.
