I was thinking about the number of posts everyone has been sending and it seems that we all loooove to talk about handbags! So what I propose is that all members who are near their 500th, 1000th, 2000th post, etc, reward themselves w/ a handbag, whether it's on their want list or not, at each pivotal milestone to honor their dedication and devotion to this forum. We as purselovers have spent numerous hours online researching and discussing our object of affection that I think we as diligent aficianados, deserve nothing but gratitude in the form of Chanel,LV, Gucci, Balenciaga, Chloe, etc (you get the idea). So let's keep those posts coming b/c we all have a goal to obtain! Keep those fingers busy! :p

I'd be buying bags like crazy :shame: Next up, 4000 posts. Give me a week or so :p

If I did do this, I'd buy a white Balenciaga city. After 5000, an Epi Speedy in Mandarin. After 10,000 posts, hmm... I'm not much of an Hermes fan, but after seeing LaVanguardia's pink Kelly, I can deal with having one of those  :p

This is a very cute idea. I love the idea of rewarding ourselves for milestones--in every aspect of life! Whenever you used one of your "milestone bags," you could remember what it represents!

Handbags are great milestone rewards for celebrating anniversaries of all kinds--marriage, dating, sticking to workouts, diets, school, people who quit smoking, whatever!

I like this idea. When I quit my last job I rewarded myself with a MJ Blake. I had been at that job for 5 years and was completely miserable for the last 1 1/2 - 2 years. I'm almost half way to 500 post. I guess I'd better get busy posting. ;)

Edit: I guess I'm just over half way. Yay!

I better slow down on my posts b/c I'm pretty close to my 1000th post, then it's all downhill! Muse, here I come...or an Lv or whatever strikes my fancy.....

Kat is right too. We can look back on these bags that we bought and realized who helped us decide, who we were with at the time or what it represents. It could even be the overall experience of buying the bag and the rush it gives you! It's more than just the bag itself people! LOL!
