Dollfie - I think a Pochette would work good for your Hubby. The strap is such that he could carry it easily, or put it on his shoulders if his hands get full. HTH.

Have you ever looked in to the Geant line? there is the Mage is a bag well not a bag but like an organizer but it has an adjustable strap it fits alot of cards and it's very masculine IMO you can also fit a wallet glasses or pens and it has alot of credit card compartments, click on my collection link for a pic...

Based on what your husband does (putting his stuff in your bag), I don't think he's going to want to carry a man purse. Outside of traveling, I never understood the man purse thing for a night on the town or daily use.
