If you are still running around looking for last minute gifts, I've just gotten an email from the Coach Outlet that everything in the store (except fragrance) is now 70% off.

But it won't help me, I'm done shopping! :yahoo:

I bought an oxblood Voyager bag on Friday when it was 50% off. Oh well. Live and learn. i don't think I've ever gone shopping on Christmas Eve.

Try and get a price adjustment. I just bought and oxblood prairie rivets rogue on the holiday sale from the local boutique store - and then suddenly it went down to 50% off about a week later. I went back and asked for a price adjustment and I got $110 back on my credit card.

Price Adjustments
Price adjustments are permitted only when an item has been marked down. The price adjustment must be made within 14 days of purchase from a Coach Retail Store or via Coach.com. The item and original receipt must accompany the request. Coach reserves the right to modify its exchange and return policy.

I have had a weird experience at the Outlet trying to get a price adjustment. They play with the price they mark it at and then make people think they are getting a better deal they they really are. I bought a wallet for my husband there and got it for 30% off and then they had 50% off items a week later, but they had changed the marked price so there really was no difference in the actual price you paid so I got no money refunded. It is just a huge game. So don't feel bad if you didn't go back to get a refund for the difference, you may not have actually gotten one.

What a load of B.S. Though I can't say I am surprised. I've been reading about outlet stores and their pricing chicanery for years. I can't believe they get away with that.

Sorry to hear this but thank you for letting us know. I wish retailers would be honest about pricing- these games they play but good for you that you have a good eye and keen memory. Unfortunately, the unsuspecting do not know any better. I have not been to a Coach outlet in decades but was considering a visit in the near future. Thanks for the reminder about price shell games played.
