Hi Ladies

It seems that i don;t have much luck with my 1st H bag. with all you input and help, i have finalised 3bags and designed to place a bid on one of them. However, 2 out of 3 has no longer in ebay ( one lisitng has ended early and 2nd one is disappeared). I have to start my bag hunting again. Need your help again. pls kindly auth the below bag. I can't see any discussion on this. I have compared the below with the other auth bag which has validated from this thread. It looks ok to me. however, i want to make sure before action. thx again

I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT MORE INFO ON MY HERMES BAG. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. ALL I KNOW THAT IT IS THE BOLIDE BAG IN LIZARD SKIN. THANKS!

This is a thread for authenticity questions only please. Please do not ask for info/details on your own bag here.
Thanks!

lily, i do think it's authentic and very interesting ~ though i don't know the name. the general impression i'm getting is that it's in poor condition, and in addition to the strap issues it looks like the scales are lifting (which can't be fixed).

Thank you!

picotins are notoriously easy to fake, and i wouldn't touch this one for the following reasons:
  1. the bonanzle listing says she's in CO, but her website and the ebay listing show her actually located in indonesia. one telling blatant untruths isn't high on my list of sellers to trust;
  2. the listing says the bag is chevre and goes on to describe how chevre different from clemence and togo. the bag is clemence, and i'm not sure even an honest seller who can't tell the difference would be able to identify a fake;
  3. ebay feedback shows this seller generally deals in guitar parts ~ of course everyone starts their hermes sales somewhere, but lack of prior sales is certainly a risk factor.

Perlerare- thank you so much for being so kind and informative. i really do appreciate it! with your helpful info, i now know that it is the 31 cm. the blindstamp looks like an A with a square around it, a 7, and then an R. i adore the bag and don't think i can sell it. i just wanted to educate myself on it. thanks again

gracekelly- yes i realize that i need a ruler to measure the bag, i just didn't know where on the bag to measure. i have no intentions on selling the bag on this website. i was simply asking if anyone knew what it is worth. thank you.
