Hey everyone

I thought I'd update to say thanks for all those who helped in my last thread :smile1:

I thought long and hard, and eventually decided I wanted a 6 prong head. Once the jeweller lit that fire in my mind (and then skphotoimages photoshopped my ring as such - once again thanks :graucho:), I just couldn't let the idea go! The jeweller agreed to make me a completely new setting (re-using my stones) to apologise for all the problems the original shady setter caused us. The workmanship of my new setting is not even comparable to my old one. I am 100% satisfied now, and have no regrets going for the 6 prongs. I actually like this setting more

Thanks everyone :smile1:

Love it! I love how a 6 prong makes it look like a star almost. I'm also glad you are happy with it too. Now you don't have to worry as much too!

This! As much as I rationally know 4 prongs are perfectly safe, I am the obsessive type and once the jeweller told me 6 would be safer I couldn't get over that fact, especially given my stone became loose in a 4 prong.

It's beautiful, congrats :D

Beautiful; it looks awesome! I agree with Whoops; it kinda makes me think of a star too...that was the first thing I thought of when I looked at the pics. Glad you're 100% happy with your ring now!
