My fiancé and I are planning to exchange gifts on the day of our wedding and we have put a cap on the price - $500. He has asked me to pick out some jewelry I would like and I love Tiffanys...but I am having a hard time picking something out. I want the piece to be classic and something that I can wear for a very long time.

I am leaning towards the Paloma's Graffiti Mini Love Ring in Gold, but worry it's not "classic" enough or that it will not stand up to everyday wear. I eventually would like to stack it with the Cartier Love ring like the below pic.

So, here's my question:
Do you think the Graffiti Mini Love Ring is classic?
What do you think of stacking it like this?
What would you select if you were in my shoes?

TIA!

The ring on the left is so cute! Never saw it before, but fo me it is so much more unique than the one on the right. I would definitely go for it.

It’s a classic in a sense that it’s PPicasso. I had this ring in gold but sold it. Was catching on things sometimes but mostly sold it because just stopped liking it ‍:frown:.
Have to say prefer the other love ring, with diamonds.
Maybe try also a bracelet if you like ‘love’ or xo if you like Graffiti line? Sorry couldn’t be of more help.

I think the ring is cute. Would it be a piece you wear forever? I don’t know. Tastes and ring sizes change. Have you considered the silver locket for $500 and engraving yours and your partner’s first letter initials? You can do the same with the modern Key for $500. Doing so would make the piece a little more than your budget but definitely worth the price for personalization.

I am worried it would catch on things, but plan to wear on my right middle finger, so maybe it won't catch as much? Did you find it got bent out of shape easily?

Thanks for your comment! I worry it might read sorta "young" in a few years and then I wouldn't wear it as much. I am not really a heart jewelry person - love my bean, my tiffany pearls, my silver ball earrings etc. but never got into the heart designs. I also am not crazed about the keys. It seems like there isn't much at the price point of the gift that I am loving right now...

I was thinking of the oval locket- https://www.tiffany.com/jewelry/necklaces-pendants/tiffany-charms-oval-locket-GRP05516/ You can even put pictures from your wedding day in it.

I would think about what is classic to YOU.

Not exactly the same but I have a Love Written ring from Solange Azagury-Partridge and although I go through phases of wearing/not wearing it works when I want to be a little irreverent yet not hardcore.

I absolutely loooove that stack of rings, you're making me want that ring too  I'd say that's a perfect choice. I think if you love it, wear it. Don't worry about what other's consider classic, it can be a classic part of your style for years to come.

There's nothing trendy about the design imo, it's literally just the word 'love', so if we're talking classic in the sense where it won't go out of style, I think you're safe.

Have a great wedding! :flowers:

Thank you both!! I completely agree with you two. I guess when I think “classic” I think of something that will age will and is not too trendy. Thanks for your input!
