Hi everyone. My grandmother just gave me her 5-motif black onyx Alhambra bracelet. It is too large and definitely needs to be resized. One question though. She no longer has the van cleef box it came with, if I take it to VCA to be resized would they give me a new box to store my own in? Or does that only come with new purchases? Thanks!

I own a juc in size 17 and I love that it is more on a loose side.
I’ve asked my friend to buy me a Van Cleef Alhambra 5 motif bracelet, but I don’t understand what size should I get.
I would like it also to be on a loose side, it is 18.5 size as my friend mentioned, and the SA told her to shorten it to 17.5 size
How do you think, isn’t it too short for me?
Maybe some owners of juc and Alhambra have the same size of a wrist?

I wear JUC 17 and I didn't shorten my Alhambra bracelet, but I like the movement. You have a year to decide and have it shortened free of charge. I would wear it for a few months and decide based on that.

+1 : i have the sweet Alhambra which is 17.5 cm and very much fit around my wrist. Wouldn’t get a bracelet more tight.
My VA are 19 cm so like they are delivered as new and they are loose.
My size for JUC (not bought it yet) is 17 cm.
If really you like it loose then 18.5 would be loose.
Anyway if you can one day see a boutique they have the fake bracelet with different cm sizes that you can try … that way you would be more sure than trying to guess and risk to resize it another time

The bracelet is definitely on the larger side for me, but I didn't want to have uneven spacing between the motifs. The SA also showed me that you can twist it a little bit if you wanted to sit higher.
