35 box, VL or chevre Birkin owners - corner wear?

The corners on my chevre birkin are moderately worn. You really have to look to see it, though. The rest of the bag is in great condition. Overall, I am happy with chevre!!

I have used my VL Birkin and VL Kelly constantly, and the corners of both bags look new. I was very surprised to see a VL Kelly listed on e-Bay recently, used a handful of times, and the corners were "gouged". I am careful with my bags, but l do use them.

Would it be reasonable to assume that a dark colored VL Birkin could more easily be restored to look new than a light or brightly colored bag? I'm specifically thinking black, etc.....

GT's observation is absolutely correct. If you weigh down your bags, your corners will droop down past the height of the feet which will cause inevitable rubbing. I have a G stamp 30cm Chevre that looks absolutely fine and better with age. I sent her off to the spa to touch up a corner or two and some tiny tiny nicks and it came back looking great.
