Hi everyone, thank you so, so much for helping me decide whether to stick with the 36mm or exchange for a 31mm (Advice required - is my Rolex too big? Too butch for me? ). I know I said I'd wait until Monday to make my final decision, but I guess I knew myself I wasn't totally comfortable with the larger size and your invaluable opinions helped me face the truth sooner rather than later.

I contacted the jewellers this morning and informed them of my decision to go smaller, all I have to do now is decide which dial! Another day, another dilemma!

Please can you be kind enough to advise me once again (I apologise for being so demanding but I so need your help) - I truly wish I had asked for your advice before I bought my Rolex (my poor husband does too!)

My new choice is as follows:

Stainless steel Datejust, with Oyster bracelet, 31mm with fluted bezel.

BUT which do you think would be the most fabulous between the following dials?

White with Roman Numerals
or
White with Diamonds.

If anyone has one of these beauties and would be kind enough to upload a pic I would just be ever so grateful.

Thanks again to everyone - I don't know where I'd be without you all xx :ty:

Thank you to everyone for their assistance during this frantic weekend - I spent a wonderful day off today trying on even more Rolex watches and although I had my heart set on the 31mm Datejust I just couldn't resist the stunning beauty of the Air King, so in approximately 12 weeks (hopefully it will be sooner!) I will be the proud owner of the stainless steel Air King, Oyster bracelet, 34mm fluted bezel with white dial Roman Numerals and diamonds - as soon as I splipped it on I fell in love.:heart:
I will post photographs as soon as it arrives.
Thanks again, I couldn't have done it without your help xxx :yahoo:

Congrats! The absolutely best choice IMO! The 34mm is just the perfect size. If you have read all of my recent posts about a new rolex for me, it has been the Air King also. But I was not going to do diamonds. Someone on TPF has pictures of her Air King with diamonds though. Perhaps the name is "gabz" - I'm not certain. Do you mind me asking how much more $ the diamonds are as compared to no diamonds? The watch is stunning and I know you will be so happy with it. Enjoy! Now it is just the wait...

OK - it is a post by "pazt" on page 9 in the jewelry reference section of show me your watch. She has an air king with a pink face, Roman numerals, and diamonds. It is TDF! I think I have to get it without the diamonds though because of the price. I'm researching it now!

Sorry Hokaplan, as soon as I realised I could get the Air King with a white dial, roman numerals AND diamonds I didn't look any further therefore didn't price the options of with or without diamonds. My 36mm Datejust cost £5090 and I will be receiving £700 refund, hope this helps.

Thank you for the link to pazt wonderful Air King photographs. To keep myself sane (12 weeks sounds like a lifetime) I am pondering what I will do with my £700 refund...I am considering putting it towards a Chanel handbag or perhaps another pair of Louboutins. :D
