3/4 ct ttw platinum studs or 1 ct ttw 18K WG studs?

The platinum ones are 3/4 ct ttw $1490, H, VS2, good. The white gold ones are 1 ct ttw $1850, I, SI2, good.

I voted for Plat .75ct, has better quality diamonds. Although it's smaller than the 1ct, it will have more sparkles.

Thanks ladies. After talking to a dear friend who used to work in the jewelry industry, I have decided on getting a pair of Build Your Own earrings from bluenile. I am going to get 0.82 CTtw Ideal/H/SI1 round studs in the WG martini setting. The only problem is my personal cc is almost maxed out and the martini setting is on back order so I'll have to wait. The bluenile rep said that the setting should be in by early Feb. ush: I wonder if they can place my order but not charge it till the setting is available? That way I can secure the pair I'd diamonds I've picked out and be ok with my cc limit.

Update: I am going to get 0.80 cttw, G, Ideal, VS2 in WG martini setting. Bluenile doesn't charge until the item is shipped so I am good! They have quite a few pairs with that criteria so I am not worried. I can't wait!

I just got similar earrings from Blue Nile for Christmas. I went for just about the same carat weight (if you go under a carat you get a much better price), martini 18k wg setting. They turned out amazing and they sparkle like mad. You'll enjoy them!!

SI1. You will not see difference in those clarity's, especially on your ear.
