Hi, I just saw the Ryder on Saks and Barney's website for per-order. Wondering if anyone has see this bag in real life. I am debuting between the medium pashli and ryder. Please help

I love the look of the Pashli better, however, it looks like it would be a pain to get in and out of because of the flap. This one looks like it would be user friendly but it's not as attractive as the Pashli. Sorry I'm no help!

I've just purchased the Black 3.1 Phillip Lim Ryder Bag from SAKS––I'm waiting for it to be shipped!! Hopefully I will like it as much as you do.

Saw this bag in real life...Love the idea...it is easy to get into the front zipper, though the zip doesn't slide as nicely as it should. Love the look, think the hardware they made for the top is beautiful, but it sits kind of funny on the folded top...just my picky eye...but I love the idea of a masculine styled briefcase bag, with a unique opening...all mixed up with fun outfits...pretty cute all in all. The plain black eather quality is just so so.

YES. I've seen two of these bags IRL and the zipper is a MAJOR issue. It constantly catches on itself if when you go to re-zip (most of the catching occured in the first 1/3 to 1/2 of the length).

I have the Ryder in Cuico/brown (the regular large size) and I LOVE the bag. But for something that retails at $1,050 I am NOT IMPRESSED. I have $500 rag and bone jackets that zip better than this puppy.

I only just discovered this bag 2 days ago but have never checked it out irl. It looks GREAT! Reminds me of a very casual Fendi Peekaboo. I'm on a serious ban so I'd have to wait until next year anyway but if I have time this week, I'll go see if Holts or The Room at The Bay has any.
