25s Caviar Flap Vs Chanel Mini Top Handle Flap Lambskin

I'm trying to decide between the new season mini caviar flap from 25s, pictured below and the classic mini top handle flap in lambskin both in black.

Can you help me to decide which option would be better.

I prefer the proportions of the classic mini top handle in lambskin and also think it is the more enduringly stylish option of the two. I would either go with that bag or look for a preloved/vintage caviar classic mini if you really prefer caviar.

Depends on how you plan on using it, but my vote is for classic mini top handle in lambskin.

Classic mini always looks best in lambskin imo.

In terms of looks, I prefer the top handle mini over the 25S flap. But I think it’s important you consider the use for the bag, size needed etc. GLD

Classic mini! I tried on the other one in white and didn't love the proportions. The top handle looked weird when worn crossbody and the whole shape just have me retro vibes which I'm not a fan of.

Thank you for sharing this picture, it's really helpful. I was worried it would hold less given that it's more structured than the classic mini. Do you think it would fit an iPhone pro max?

Sorry, no idea, I've never held an iPhone pro max and have no clue how big it is, I'm a Google phone girl 😅
But this bag has very good capacity, I was very tempted to get it because the color is pretty and it really can fit a lot. When I tried it on I was able to fit my Google phone, regular size not a pro, two pairs of glasses, some makeup, and a card holder.

Another issue is that since both straps don't have a leather break that can make the bag feel a bit heavy on the shoulder. Given that the lambskin is lighter than caviar, it might make the lambskin bag a better option.

My vote is for the mini classic with top handle! As stated before, I think it has a more timeless look to it.
