224314JAX - what does this mean on the Coach tag?

Hello, I am looking at a bag on ebay and have a questions about some information on the coach tag. It clearly states the style number, color and price. What is also includes is 224314JAX - I've never seen this on my tags before. Does anyone know what this means? I just want to make sure its all good.

I was able to get a photo of the tag so I have attached that to show you what I mean. The UPC code has been blocked so that is why there is a white patch on the tag.

Coach seems to have moved to this new style tag recently from the old folded style, and they all have that JAX# on it...don't know what it means. The tag on the Phoebe I bought from the outlet last week is in that same format.

Hi, thanks so much I just read them. I am glad to hear that this is on other bags as well because I just hadn't come across it. I had recently bought this style (53083) in 4 other colors directly from the boutique and my tags didn't have that on it so that is why I was a little concerned at first. It makes sense that if someone ordered it directly from JAX that that coding would be on there. It is the blush color that I bought and it is an online exclusive so makes sense now about the tag. Thanks again.

Thanks - my 4 recent purchases from the boutique didn't have this on the tag so that is why I was worried. Unfortunately, the seller of the blush colored bag I bought was very secretive and was trying to avoid my questions so I started to get worried.
