Beyond irritated with LV now... I placed an order for the black Nano Speedy since January. I checked the order status last week only to see that it was missing from my account. I figured it was a glitch in the system and would check again the next few days. Checked earlier to see that it was still missing. I chatted with CS and she told me the order was updated on 05/09 and she would have the store contact me. I asked what does it mean that the order was updated. She said it was cancelled! I asked her if the order was cancelled how come I do not see a refund and why no one from the store contacted me. She said refund was between 5-7 days, but she will escalate it to management to have someone to call me.

So, I basically wasted 4 months waiting on a bag only for it to be cancelled with no one even notifying me. This is not luxurious at all. As much as I love the few items I have received from the MC collection, I can't help but to feel like they're tainted or I don't have a good feeling when I wear them. I am quite appalled at LV and their business practices. Take people's thousands of dollars only to tell them months later that they can't fulfill their end of the promise. I was considering an item from the Cerises collection, but now I do not know if I want to participate in this ridiculous charade.

As another person posted, it looks like the black MC items are being cancelled. It's amusing to me that they can't fulfill these orders that have been placed months ago, yet they are dropping new items every few weeks or so. Feels like LV wants to be fast fashion now vs luxury.

Rant over.
This is awful and not what LV should be doing as a luxury brand. I was able to get one item which was stressful. I’ve been purchasing LV for over 30 years and I am disappointed! This is not the way things should be. I am so sorry.

wow that is so messed up , I am truly sorry. It is really wrong..... how could they not fulfill the orders even with a delay? They should not have stopped making the bag until all orders fulfilled. This is insane and I myself was considering one item maybe from Cerise but especially after reading this, makes me also disgusted and will not do Cerise. I will save my money for Chanel.
I was thinking the same…take a break on LV and enjoy buying Chanel instead.

I did. Got sick of the LV game and this time, when I was in Japan, I bought some Chanel earrings.

LV is turning itself into a fast fashion house, and I believe the practice of holding ppl's money for months on end with no product is illegal, yet they do it anyway. I"m truly sorry for anyone who placed their orders since January but got their orders cancelled. You were the real die-hard LV fans. And LV chose to screw over you guys like this is beyond appalling.

So many how got something, got something much later and sooner. I don't know why they kept you waiting all these months. It's long enough to even have the handbags manufactured from scratch!

Oh no how disappointing, especially after waiting for so long 😢 I'm in Australia and I got a call from Client Services about my January noir MC order - call was to tell me that the PA is now delayed to September 🥹🫠 and ask if I wanted to cancel and get a refund.

Felt somewhat transactional and as I've mentioned before not like a luxury shopping experience. The prospect of a 9-month delay didn't seem like that big a deal because 'we can easily refund you'. Call also ended a bit abruptly once I confirmed I will continue to wait.

Out of curiosity I did ask if it's still the noir MC in particular that has been delayed and she said that's not the case whatsoever, although a previous advisor had said this to me over the phone... was also advised to stay off social media (I've only been on this forum) and to go straight to them as the source for info, but then where would I get my Murakami emotional support, if not through our collective shared experience across 1,000+ pages just for this collection ❤️‍🩹😆

Lastly, I was bluntly told that the cherries collection is 'completely different' when I asked if any delays are expected for this drop - my pre-order should ship soon, so that's good to hear at least

Good luck again to those still patiently waiting on their pieces from drops 1 and 2 ! 💪
It is crazy that they took your money and cant provide the order for 9 months! 🤯

It's crazy that they had finally done it - the replicated the Hermes game they've tried so desperately to emulate for years. And then they screwed it up. These weird trickle re-stocks and promising items that never came to fruition. CAs shilling on Instagram. Making people call an 800-number and hope you talk to someone nice.

They've somehow simultaneously made the pieces not exclusive and alienated customers at the same time. Incredible job they did at complete failure.

Yes, LV SA in stores get all snooty when asked about the TM collection like it's so exclusive. One of the non snob SA followed me and asked if I was interested bc some remaining TM items could still be ordered, while the first SA just went on and on about how "nope, nope nope, it's all gone, all gone'- being a total Biatch while my two bag orders were still pending... It's really disgusting how LV is being dumb. I only ordered two because I thought maybe none would come to fruition anyway, like some of yours were cancelled. I don't like it either when Hermes SA act like A-holes...

I was so surprised when I talked to my longtime CA in person. She said even when Murakami things became available, she would tell everyone asking that they didnt have anything and couldnt order it UNLESS it was an established client with a sizeable spend history, in which case she would help them 🫣

Ugh that's awful. I have something sort of similar happening-- I had an order for a PA and a shawl places mid January. Neither has ever fulfilled and when I contact CS they say that the date has been changed to the next week, then the next week comes and goes and I ask again and I'm told the same thing. Meanwhile there have been online restocks that people placed in the past month for the PA and they got it right away. Really don't enjoy whatever this model of doing business is...

I thought this might be the case as others were sharing experiences here from the initial launch and restocks. This is unfortunate, but not surprising.

Yes, that kind of snooty attitude, reserving it for frequent flyers, how would they know unless they look in your records. What if you are visiting from out of town. They are just being judgMENTAL jerks, they don't know anything about your purchase history. That's why it helps to be nice as a SA. People will always circle around and ask for you.
How can you be good at customer service if you treat people like that. Is that how you would like to be treated. Or is that how LV wants you to treat people... the training includes learning how to be a-holes, as if people really needed help learning that nowadays.

All the CAs I know are doing the same thing. If a return or random piece comes in they ask their clients first then pass it along etc. My CA sold random stock to someone on launch day, he said she was so sweet that he didn't mind grabbing something for her. Apparently a lot of people came in on day 1 with attitudes.

This is absolutely unacceptable.

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that. That’s crazy that it’s going to take 9 months to make the bag…… I really do wonder if it is a noir thing. I hope it comes in sooner rather than later for you. Fingers crossed. And yes totally agree regarding their luxury experience these days. Or lack thereof.
