I didn't see a thread for this already so hopefully this is not a duplicate, but what is on your handbag wishlist for this year?
For me, I am seriously considering:
Hermes P'tit Arcon bag - it has to be a fun color, though, and so far I've mostly seen it in neutrals
Bvlgari Serpenti Cabochon bag - still undecided on color, there are so many fun ones, but that signature Bvlgari green is hard to pass up
A preowned Chanel with rainbow hardware - not sure which model yet but probably one of the blue WOCs
A custom bag by Mila Jito

My #1 for this year is super basic, but I feel it's lacking in my collection. #2 is a maybe and only if I see something that I'll really love. Hopefully I'm not getting more than two bags this year, I'm trying to be very intentional with my purchases and avoid clutter.
1. Chanel classic flap in black caviar with gold the hardware (haven't decided whether it's going to be a small or a medium)
2. Chanel fun color flap, maybe seasonal

Interesting! Can we have unknowns or non-designer bags on our 2025 list? I recently discovered Parker Thatch and I’m starting to realize they may be a brand that IYKYK. I want more Micro Mimi’s that they’ve done. I came here hoping to find info but there is nothing.

I misbehaved last year with lots of purchases so I’m back to good behavior this year. LOL! That means only buying thoughtfully to fill gaps in my collection. I wanted to stick to a limit of 3 but this list isn’t too bad. :lol: I’m holding on moving on them right now in case I find something better to bump one off the list. LOL!
  • Chanel medium flap with 24k ghw (finding one in pristine condition will take me a while. Since I’m not hunting daily - or even weekly - this may not happen til 2026.)
  • Burgundy YSL Sac de Jour in small (I’m flexible on this as long as it’s a structured burgundy shoulder bag with arm carry option)
  • Louis Vuitton Blossom Tote in one of the lighter shades (I have a black that I love.)
  • TBD luxurious structured laptop work tote. I’ll likely have to buy something in a brand’s men’s collection because, of course, ladies don’t have serious jobs. :rolleyes: :blah:

I’ve also been thinking about a Mila Jito bag but I’m not yet convinced this is for me. Still thinking.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words so here is my current top wish list I'm working on (all limited editions):

1. Bvlgari Coure 1968 - actually have this on hold for me in both pink and red in Paris for pickup in April. Not sure I'll keep both but I wanted to be able to see both. Was leaning towards the pink then the red then both then the pink but who knows, may end up with both lol

2. Bvlgari Roma top handle in grey - only place you can still get this color is UAE so trying to be creative and have a friend of a friend who lives there pick up for me.

3. Louis Vuitton capucines flower handle - only available in Asia market. I think I have a way to get but not ready to pull the trigger given the price but want in my collection one day.

4. Lady Dior Cabinet of Curiosities - saw this at Heathrow airport last month and loved but holding out bc pretty similar to another Dior bag i have (and never use) and price point on top of the above bags. Might pick up when go to Paris in April if its still available.

5. Planning to also get the Saint Laurent 5 a 7 hobo in light musk (army green color) size large at some point. Can justify sooner bc not as pricey, more casual vibe and can hopefully fit my laptop so better for an everyday bag.

I’m needing a brown/neutral small-mid crossbody, something that is not wide and will slouch nicely against the hip, and still has a bit of edge. Right now the front runner is a Stella McCartney mini Falabella but also considering a Bal Town. Would get either preloved…my goal is no “new” bags!

I have a decent collection and am only filling the void this year.

1. LV Neverfull MM Black Epic
2. A small bag from the LV Murakami collection (have not decided on what collection and which bag)
3. Something burgundy: Constance 18 or Kelly/Constance WTG in Rouge H
4. Something light taupe/beige like Gris Asphalt or Gris Tourturelle or Chanel Classic M/L in taupe/light taupe

I had a reporter bag on my list. I've been looking for something that's a bit like LV Outdoor Messenger.
I just ordered a Boss Crosstown in black grained leather, it's a n/s style. I was at the Boss store in Stockholm a couple of weeks ago and took a look at it there. Really liked it, but the price - 470 €! 😳
The same bag (or it might be the previous model, but it's basically the same) is 350 online and I found it for 130 on sale.
I'm content at the moment. We'll see how I like the Crosstown or do I want a east-west style instead. In that case, back she goes and the quest continues.
