2021 Rhodonite Holiday Pendant - Versatility and Wear and Tear

Hi! I'm potentially interested in purchasing the 2021 rhodonite holiday pendant (secondhand). I'm interested to hear from those of you who own this pendant - is it versatile? Do you find yourself reaching for it? How is wear and tear?

Also, does anyone have both the 2021 and the 2024 (guilloche) pendants? How would you compare the two? Thanks!

Hi, I have both HP’s and I love them both for different reasons. The pink rhodonite is pretty if you like pink things. I rarely reach for it though as I do not wear pink often in general, but I still love it and won’t sell it. My complexion is pink, so the pendant doesn’t look good against my skin. I only wear it when I have a white or black or grey top on that acts like a background for the pink pendant.
The 2024 RG Guilloche is easier to style as it goes with everything. Although I’ve never worn it in the shower, it would be more carefree than the rhodonite one. If I had to pick between the two, I’d go for the 2024 pendant (it’s also more expensive as it’s all metal).

You’re welcome! Just because it blends in with my skin tone, it may not be the case for you. Rose gold in general doesn’t work for me, hence, most things pink don’t work for me either. If you usually wear rose gold, the rhodonite might look great on you.

I only have the rhodonite as I wasn't interested in the 2024 pendant, I can say I've worn it a lot (showering, gym) and it's totally fine. Looks the same to me!

Rhodonite comes in shades from dark to light, mine leans more dark purple pink so it's been quite versatile.
