Lesson(s) of the year:

It doesn’t hurt to WAIT to purchase a bag (unless it’s a discontinued color or style, or a resort item that sells out quickly, or an item on your wish list that is on a great sale), because there will always be something better around the corner – especially if it’s a Chloe!!

Be true to yourself and buy what it is that you personally love and makes you the happiest.

Well, I am not a bag juggler, I am a bag keeper, which puts me into a difficult position, as I cannot justify purchasing too many bags anymore... I have 12 Chloés now, and I have slowed down a bit, as I have only bought three this year...

front pocket Paddy in mousse
small Heloise in pinkberry
Anoushka in chocolate (which I haven't done a reveal yet, although it's with me since October, I think)

Holy grail: I am not sure... but I am really considering a Paraty for next year, not sure of the colour yet, I'd love a black bag, but all this other neutral earthy shades call out to me very loudly... *sigh*

I own 9 bags from different designers, so i am not that far from you and i still want some more next year... dont feel bad, 12 is a very reasonable figure...

When I can squeak out a few hours, I'll post my list...........many have come, a few have gone, many more probably need to go, I'm working on 'weeding out' but it's hard, once I pull a bag out of it's dustbag, I fall in love all over........:cloud9:

Lesson(s) of the year:
Know what are musts for you. I need gorgeous leather. I need longer straps to put over my arm. I need a large bag. I bought an Alexander Wang Roco bag because it was all the rage and it was gorgeous- but I didn't feel comfortable carrying it. Not getting sucked into the TPF hype is also a must. Not buying the same bag in more than one color. Staying far far far away from the RM forum because it is a highly dangerous place.

All in all, buy what you LOVE. What you can't stop thinking about no matter what others opinions of it are.
