I've been eyeing Cartier (ballon bleu) or maybe get a bigger faced Rolex watch. I love the gold bracelet but they are way expensive. Im not so fond of pure stainless steel. I'm opting for 2 tone but heard comments it is neither here nor there. What do you think? Is 2 tone a classic style or rather out of fashion with today's bigger faced watch? TIA!

I agree well I did, I got the Cartier (ballon bleu) in steel and YG and I LOVE it, I can wear it with either WG or YG jewllery I never thought I would have liked and worn it as much as I do.

I like two tone too. Looks good on the Rolex but prefer all steel on the Ballon Bleu. Some how Cartier's models look better if they are either all steel or all gold.

CLASSIC! I love it! I just traded in my ladies size TT Rolex for a Rolex TT Midsize. TT is the ultimate classic imo and TT watches do get a bit more of a modern feel with a little larger watch.

I have two tone Rolex DJ (36mm) and Cartier ballon bleu (mid size), i think they are very versatile and go well with my Platiumn ering and rg / yg love bracelets. I love mixing metals.

definitely classic!!

but I know at our company we have been selling lots of two tone and have started selling a lot more yellow gold watches again.

stainless steel is still the most popular but the models we sell in stainless steel and rose gold two tone do very well!

When did you get your Cartier BB? I always love your reveals since you have amazing taste but I can't remember you doing one on this watch or did I miss it :confused1: Either way I would love to see it :smile1:

Aww thanks! I got it last weekend. I didn't do a reveal but posted some pictures in the reference thread under Watch and Cartier. Check them out. I'll probably post an updated pic of my collection soon:graucho:
