2 pearl strand or 35in

I’m looking to purchase a second strand of pearls and can’t decide between either a 2 strand or 35 inch. Also, anyone stack pearls with different colors (maybe 1 white strand and 1 gray strand or 1 lavender)? Any suggestions?

I haven’t stacked strands of different colors. Years ago I did buy two strands to nest. Over the years the stringing loosened differently and they no longer nest as nicely.

I would prefer two so you have the option of wearing both or just one.

Have tried wearing different color strands but I didn't particularly like the look. But it could have been just the colors I was using.
