I figured I'd throw this out here because so many of you ladies post pics of really beautiful pieces. I came across these quartz/amethyst items today and the colors and size just were phenomenal...and cheap! There are three I plan to keep but I am truly out of ideas. Seriously, I can't even decide. Do these inspire anything for anyone?

I won't bother with specs, just trust me, they're all 20+ carats and huge.

What the heck would you do with them if the sky was the limit?

I'm uninspired...I've lost my mojo!

I think the top stone should be made with a white metal, that is, silver, white gold or platinum and the other two with yellow gold. Cocktail rings sound fabulous. Why not size them for different fingers too. Have you considered bezel settings? Some with a halo of diamonds, or different coloured gemstones?

Wow they are lovely! I don't really know much about settings, but I tend to like big stones in very simple settings. They all would make dramatic cocktail rings or pendants.

You will have to share the finished product!!

first, I would sell the amethyst to me, since I've been looking for a 20+ct round for about 1 year...hehehe

second, I would mount them in rings. so stunning. I prefer simple settings for large stones. I will post some inspiration pics later.

love those stones!!!

I agree! A bezel setting, with clean lines would look great with such amazing gemstones, let the gems shine on their own:nuts:

I love the first stone. I think that one should be made into a pendant. I would want the quartz to hang vertically with an oval setting around the stone in white gold. On the setting itself to have diamonds all the way around. I think something like that could be amazing for that particular stone.
