Hi all,

In a bit of pickle and need you guy's input

Not going to name any names yet so here goes

Long story short, I am impatient when it comes to skin care routine so I'd prefer to nuke the issue with the likes of skin peel and such

The consultant/technician understood my concern and offered picosure treatment assuring that this will clear up 80% of the blemishes, warts, moles and such

However he barely gave me 2 sessions and the results is unsatisfactory

I am not pleased considering the amount I paid

He was friendly enough during the first consultation/treatment but the 2nd half was poor and only spent no more than 10 mins on my treatment

Should I voice my dissatisfaction and demand for further session?

What will you do in my position?

Lastly what are the average cost for skin treatment packages?

My main issues are blemishes, dry oily skin, moles and uneven skin surface

Thanks for listening to my rant

If you are unsatisfied with your results then you should of course speak about it! It's your money you are paying,, It's better saying something then letting your money go to waste.. I am not 100% sure about how much skin treatments are but how much did you pay?

No matter what kind of treatment you get or how often, the key to improving (or even maintaining) your skin is having a good skin care routine. There is no way around it. It's pointless to discuss treatments if you're not interested in taking care of your skin all day, every day.

2 mil KRW. The technician was convincing

How long in between has it been for those sessions and since the last?

I’d say it might take some time but if you are unhappy with the results you should speak up- sometimes your skin may need more than a few sessions to get to a desired state

Skincare isn’t instant- takes time to reverse!

I will put in the effort of course

I just need to go to a good dermatologist who can guide/teach me

Most patients need at least 4 or more picosure treatments to improve uneven skin texture
i do not know of any medical professional who would say pico works in one or two treatments.
these treatments should be spaced out, so it may take many months
for the other issues, you may need different plan of action and also daily care
blemishes might be addressed by topicals. moles, depending, they might be best left alone
it is best not to embark on laser work in the summer bc of thr recommendation to avoid the sun

ETA: laser work is expensive and painful and time consuming
(ive had multiple combinations of picosure, pico light, clear and brilliant and Ella)

If you have a computer or phone (which you obviously do), you only need youtube for advice and demonstrations. I love these guys:

Find a highly recommended esthetician in your area to give you hands on guidance.

Yea doing it summer was a bad idea

I can't go hiking and the lack of movement is making me lethargic

I will voice my displeasure and request for at least 2 more sessions

Then I will go to a different dermatologist and have them recommend a suitable products for me

I will also check out the YouTube link

Btw im a guy so Im not as delicate on my skin

could be lack of interest and laziness..

anyway im now in a position where i need to look neat, tidy and presentable so im pretty sure i will get the hang of it

Thank you all for your input

This was in Korea I’m assuming since you gave the price in title at 2M krw? If yes, that is CRAZY expensive. You can go to Muse Clinic in Gangnam for 59,000-69,000 KRW for each session, 265,00-310,000 KRW for 5 sessions. And yes, my understanding is you will need quite a few sessions to see results.

Yes 2 mil krw for barely 2 sessions

I got a similar quote as yours from a well known clinic in Jamsil and they commented the price is a blatant rip off, foreigner or not

I will be heading to the former clinic in a few days, hopefully we can have this resolved

i realised i really have to be patient with skin treatment

Not everything can be nuked
