I purchased a black marmont camera bag this past holiday for a trip to Europe. I thought I’d just use it for the trip and occasionally but I fell in love with it and it has been my everyday bag since my New Years trip. Any tips if I’ve scuffed up the edge of my piping? I scratched it on something and it’s driving me crazy.

Anyways, I decided I needed a lighter color for spring/summer and I found this one on Rebag. I’ve always scrolled these kind of sites but never actually bought anything but I had no choice when I saw this Unskilled Worker x Gucci bag. They listed it as “very good”, but IRL I think it was barely used if at all. It had been on the site for a few months but I didn’t want to pay the asking, so I set a price in my head and said if it dropped to that I would get it. Originally, it was listed for 1140 + $20 for shipping. Gucci is excluded from some promos but eventually with a promo it was $902.50 and free shipping.

Prior to this purchase I really have only lurked but never bought a preloved bag. I have resold plenty of my bags and shoes on eBay when I’m done with them, but I’m the 20 years I’ve been doing that this really is my first ever preloved purchase.

I love everything about it!!!! The color, the print, the little bee and the price I paid.

We can't see the pics but I think I know the kind of bags you mean, congratulations. Was it a Marmont or the Nymphaea? Both were amazing and I was tempted myself. If you just upload normal jpgs they should show without you having to do anything else.

Most of my Guccis were bought new because (unlike Hermes and Chanel, where many are obsessed by resale) most people don't seem to look after them so well. It has nothing to do with the bags themselves as often I have the same. I use the pre-loved route when buying models no longer produced like my Bouvier (suits me better than a Jackie). I bought it from a friend though. I would recommend people go to a B&M consignment or vintage store to see in a bag in person and know what you're supposed to be looking at..

So weird! I posted them below. I’ve also just resold my stuff and the few times I have considered pre-loved it just made more sense to buy new cuz I was looking for something current.

I feel like I lucked out on the condition.
