I think my WG bangle has been on since Oct. 8th. Do you think I should leave it at Cartier end of summer for my first cleaning? I'm talking about the type that gets rid of a lot of scratches not the shine/polish they do while you wait. TIA!

i have had mine almost 2 years.. and i dont know if i will ever get it done. it buffs down the screws.. and it will be shiny like new.. but you are going to lose gold.

its too new to get shined yet... lol

It'll look like new. I took in my mother's white gold and diamond one and hers was like a decade old and it was amazing - totally like new. I've also heard you should only do it a few times in the lifespan. I've had mine for 1.5 years and haven't polished it.

It's too soon Hokaplan. If you let them polish it every few month's you will loose the screw design. Try to enjoy the unique patina. This is a bracelet that you wear every day. You cannot avoid scratches.

Agreed, you should wait. It it way too soon for a polish. I have had my for 3 years, and have not polished it yet. I have learned to live with the minor scratches. I have taken it in a few times for the free cleaning.

I wear a 18K gold wedding band, same width as the bracelet, 6 mm I think, and it has a ton of little scratches, but I kind of feel like they represent our journey since the wedding day. I think the same can go for the love, you know?

I don't mind little scratches at all. It is the big ones that look like scuffs that really bother me. Does anyone have scuff-looking marks on their Love bracelet? I have 3 or 4 on top. I hoped they were smudges but they do not wipe off.

Thanks Bagaday. I'll have to try that. My scuffs can only be seen when I tilt my wrist certain angles and look for them! I know they're there but probably others can't see unless I point it out. Where do you purchase the Luster Cloth? Do you think Bed, Bath & Beyond?
