Food 1st attempt @ being domestic. I bought a crock pot! help! recipes??

Ah love my slow cooker. There are several great slow cooker books out there. I love doing a pot roast with Italian dressing and ranch dressing (dry mixes) with veggies. Pork roast with bbq sauce!!

ITA, I'm not about to build a "table scape" but the food she prepares are actually realistic.

I don't know if someone posted this already, but avoid lifting the lid on your crock pot. It takes a really long time for the temperature to rise again once the lid has been lifted. Good luck trying out new recipes. I use the "Fix it and forget it" cookbook all the time. It's got a ton of recipes.
