18K yellow gold bangle with matte finish?

So, I have been obsessed with finding an 18K yellow gold bangle with a matte finish. I think it would be an interesting contrast in a stack.

The good thing about a bench jeweler/independent goldsmith is that their prices will fall as gold prices fall. ($1,220 today, down from $1,900 in 2011--a 40% drop?)

In my 30s, I wore silver bangles every day. Now that I'm in my 40s, I want to upgrade...so am saving patiently.

Solid bangles are harder to find than one would think!

^ VERY true! It is becoming almost impossible to find 18K or higher gold content, and solid pieces are rare. Thanks for the etsy site. I will definitely have to keep this seller in mind as the holidays get nearer.

Definitely. I've also learned to buy far fewer pieces, but make them better quality. I want less--but better. Ah, the wisdom of age!
