Our 10 year wedding anniversary is coming up in November. We are going away for the weekend but my husband wants to know what I want as a gift. I would like a special piece of jewelry but I'd like to keep it at $2000 or less (our anniversary is close Christmas and family birthdays). I toyed with the idea of getting my engagement ring reset (a 1 carat princess cut). Any suggestions? I'd love your input!!

I wished for diamond study, you would get a nice pair in SI quality, colour H, perfect cut that would not be too small. At least that's what I've wished for ... but did not get. Now I buy them by myself but I would have LOVED to receive them as our 10 yrs gift.

Hmmm assuming you have none of these, I'd go...

-diamond studs
-dbty necklace
-anniversary band - maybe a princess eternity band?
-pearl necklace or bracelet

Also depends on how you plan to reset your engagement ring? Do u have current pix?

Thanks for the suggestions so far!!!

How funny, our 10 year anniversary is in November as well! I have been thinking about a gift, and have decided on a three stone ring, but with a pink colored center stone. I thought it would take me months to find the perfect stone, but I got luckily and fell in love with a custom cut emerald cut pink topaz. I shipped it off to Whiteflash and am having them design the three stone, with diamond traps on each side of the topaz. All in, slightly over your budget but not by much. I will wear it as a right hand ring. I wanted something completely different from my engagement ring, which is oval bezel with a micropave halo. I have never owned anything step cut before.
Anyway, sorry to ramble, and not sure if you are into colored stones or not, but that could be an affordable option. I have 2 girls too, so pink was clearly the front runner for color!
