100 inch pearl necklace or 54 inch pearl necklace?

I love the look of layered pearls! I am just wondering which length is better....I am just concerned with the weight of a 100 inch. Does anyone own one? What do you think is better?

The 100 inch is very heavy. My mom purchased one and can't wear it because of the weight.

I was looking at the 100 inch because of all the ways you can wrap it---very chic and chanelish-----but I was concerned about the weight of it. The 54 inch didn't bother me, but you can either knot it or double it. I don't think you can wear it as a single strand----I think it is too long for that.

Sounds like a good choice! The 100 inch would wrap around your neck like 10 times and give you funny posture.
