Hubby and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary :) Through the years, I have kept my .48 ct diamond engagement ring and very simple ring guard with sapphires (we are both September babies). But for this milestone celebration, I wanted to get something to commemorate it. Since I love sapphires and they hold meaning to the two of us, I wanted to get something with them in it.

Considering these two from Tiffany: 16 Stone Shclumberger (diamonds and sapphires) or the shared setting band ring (also with diamonds and sapphires).

Both wowed me when I tried them on. I felt the shared setting band is a design that I see in other (non branded) rings and the Schlumberger is just so very quintessential Tiffany without screaming out so loud that it IS Tiffany. Both very impressive and I am in love with both and would be happy with either one.

Just wanted to hear other people's thoughts as my hubby is not much help, lol.

On a side note :) I do like for my rings to have meaning and I was wondering, is there some sort of significance to having 16 stones? just curious, and I couldn't find anything online.

If you are going to do Tiffany, I prefer the second.

That said, the Schlumberger rings are unique and you would get the enternity -- of the second. 16 stones has no significance, but hey, in 6 years maybe you can get another one.

Lol, I will most likely wait another 10 years!

Both are lovely but the Schlumberger band does have more of a "wow" factor and very distinct.
Are you planning on wearing this with your e-ring or alone?

No, I think I will wear it as my only band. I tried it on with my current one and I thought the two together did not mesh well.

No hesitation- schlumberger

Lol, i love the definte answer!

Thanks all for all you input! I am buying a ring tomorrow and I am very excited. Right now, I'm leaning towards Schlumberger, but that could totally change tomorrow! Hehe.
