I love this thread!

After a really ugly bout with rosacea two years ago, the dermatologist took me off all cosmetics, except a specially-mixed cream from the pharmacy. Nothing but luke-warm water and that cream for weeks. He said I had done too much with various treatments, causing the skin to lose its ability to fend for itself. I asked my cousin, also a dermatologist, who agreed with this assessment. Once the worst was over, the doc allowed me to slowly re-introduce skin care products but cautioned me to keep them to a minimum. Today, my can't-live-without products are

1. La Roche-Posay cleanser and lotion
2. La Roche-Posay Toleriane fluide
3. Avène mineral water spray to refresh during the day

-------------

4. Pumice for baby-smooth feet
5. L'Occitane hand and foot creams
6. My big body brush, used daily in the shower (natural, soft bristles, worth every penny)
7. Baby lotion and powder
8. Black mascara / eye pencil
9. Carmex!!!!
10. Burt's Bees lip gloss

I think I cheated by grouping some items together. You'll forgive me for that lapse, won't you?
