It seems like we've been majorly in to Birkins here on tPF lately but I am also an Evelyne fan. Having a Birkin and Evelyne, and I've got every situation covered. For those times when a messenger bag is called for, you just can't beat an Evelyne.

An Evelyne was my first H bag in Dec. 06 ... gosh it's almost two years old ... and it looks like new even though I carried it every day in 2007. I still love it for craft fairs, traveling, taking furbabies to the vet ....

It's secured with a tab. But after carrying it every single day for a year, I never had any wish for a zipper! I have all my things in H small leather items though so there are no small things to fall out. I keep my phone and keys in the large outside pocket and everything else in the main compartment. The "2" version has two pockets and no inside pocket. The "non 2" version has a small open pocket inside.
