I had a flat bulbous nose and all my glasses slipped off my face. I found a plastic surgeon and ENT doctor in Texas. His ethnic rhinoplasty portfolio had noses similar to mine and I was impressed with his work. It's been a little more than a year post op and I love the results. I did have concerns before like uneven swelling, scars, bumps at incision line, and the bridge looked like it was more to one side but not anymore. They are no longer present!! I think patience is key. During my procedure, he said my nose had a significant deviated septum so he fixed it. Now I breathe so much better! I wanted my nose bridge to be a little high, not too much because my other facial features are also soft so he used my ear cartilage. I wanted it to look as natural as possible. He also made my tip more defined and performed alar base reduction. Let me know if you have any questions. My pictures include before, recovery, and current picture. I am too scared to show my full face but it really does match my other features. My eyes stand out so much more now.

Hi @Aba18,

I know it's been a year since you posted. But how is your bridge graft going? I'm also interested in using ear for my nose bridge but afraid of irregularities and resorption. But I've also heard a couple people have had success after 2 years.

Please let me know!
