Totally in love with my new to me oh so soft and squishy 07 mogano City. Unfortunately there's a thin pen line on the back (about 1.5 inches long) near the strap. Kinda bummed about that...does anyone have any wonderful product for removing ink but not damaging the leather? It's such a lovely bag that I'm keeping it regardless but I'd love to get that ink out if I could. TIA!

Beautiful bag! Can barely see the pen mark if you can't get it off. Enjoy!

Thanks, I intend to...luckily it's on the back of the bag, it's just my OCD kicking in...I'm assuming the seller didn't notice it, but I did message her to let her know.

In case anyone's interested there is in fact a product by Avel of France to remove ink. They do say it's for non-permeable leather, which lets out Bal bags, and even with that it may not remove all inks and could possibly take away some of the bag colour...no thanks, I'm happy the way it is after reading that!

OMG it's beee-youuu-tiful! I think Mogano is the prettiest of all browns, and the leather on that one makes it extra amazing. So excited for you! My anthracite has a pen mark on it... it's so close to the color of the leather it's barely noticeable and I honestly don't know if the bag came with it or if I did it (I suspect the former, but I didn't notice it until I had carried the bag many times so who knows). But--no surprise-- I got all OCD about it anyway and spent way too much time researching the removal of ink from precious leather... and came to the conclusion it's better to leave well enough alone. I did try the tippy edge of some alcohol wipes (the kind in a medical kit) and that seemed to lift the ink at first, but it came back, and the spot required a bit of conditioning afterwards. From everything I've read, if you don't get to the ink right away when it's fresh, it's less likely to come out. And with a bag that freakishly beautiful, and since it's on the back, girl, I'd just leave well enough alone for fear of removing any of that firing beautiful brown color. CONGRATS

Yaaahhhh my OCD friend, I've already come to that conclusion, the ink will remain untouched , thanks again for everything, it's way more beautiful than the eBay pics!
