Can anyone tell me the difference between the two colors? or which they would purchase given the option. I've searched high and low and can't find any comparison pics between the two.

I know that the 05 leathers are to die for but then the 04 colors are rare....so confused!!! -lol,

Khaki is my faaavorite Bbag color and leather of all time. They all seem to have stupendous leather. That said, in certain lights, Khaki has a lot of yellow, make sure you are okay with this. Olive is darker, and the fall 05 leather is variable..can also be wonderful.

Either way you'll be getting a special bag. Good luck!

So farrahmelanie.... I'm noticing your are an oldies seeker. Didn't you score some recently?
I've had 2 2004 Khaki bags but not a 2005 Olive. Agree with Connie that the 04 is more yellow and I would say a bit brown but not close to how it appears in pics. I have always wondered about 05 olive. I think it might be more green and brighter. I might even prefer 05 olive.

I have to admit, that although I am a new found bal addict. They are my one true guilty pleasure. I love the older bags, the colors are so pretty. It's like walking into a candy store and everything is bright and just yum!!!

after hearing the opinions posted, [thank you connie618 & dratti :)]I think I'm going to go with the 05 olive. I just prefer the 'warmer' colors, it would go more with my wardrobe.

So you HAD two 2004 khaki bags -- what was it about khaki that didn't work for you?

I just got an '05 olive twiggy and it is my favorite Bal bag EVER! The color and leather are simply beyond! One of the best purchases I made in a long time. I don't know much about '04 colors but I am sure those divine as well.

The leather was not soft on these 2004 khaki bags....but it was thick. Really...the color was not great against my skin tone. Just not a flattering color for me.
I like to gather info too so here is some on my 04 experience.
I can tell you that my 04 black is like kidskin and THE softest bag I have ever felt. The leather is thin on the front medium thick on the back. My 04 Grey is the second softest in my collection and the leather is medium thick. The leather on my 04 Seafoam is third in softness and medium thick, the leather on my 04 Rose is fourth softest and the leather is thicker. The 04 Khaki leather was not very soft but was the thickest of my 04 bags. I believe they were treated before they came to me. My 05's vary as well but none of mine were treated and the leather is silky on all of them (10) (...except Indigo, I forgot..very treated...it was one of my first purchases and I didn't know any better.

Here she is!:heart: The color is so gorgeous IRL. I tried capturing it's true shade but having no luck. It's pretty close in the pics but even more beautiful in person.

Missed the Forum. Max, so glad you are still hanging out. I've been out of commission for weeks (pneumonia)...mending now, so here I am again!

Drati, what color is that MU? It is hard to tell next to the Olive.

H_Addict, that Twiggy is scrumptious! I've not seen Olive IRL, and my love affair with Khaki keeps me from hunting one down. They really do both work with the same colors.

I know what you mean though about not being able to photograph the Olive. It's probably just as elusive as Khaki to represent with a camera.

I sold my Khaki WE a while back, and went insane trying to get a photo of every color it changes to. I mentioned the "yellow,' because it can fool a buyer who has to go by photos alone.
