NO CHATTER in this thread please

Chat here: http://forum.purseblog.com/mulberry-shopping/returned-or-substandard-bags-721762.html

There are no rules which prohibit the reselling of 0 or 00 stamped bags, however they will have been purchased at discounted prices in the outlets.

Though all Mulberry bags come with a 12 month guarantee, the fault for which the bag has been stamped a "sub" will NOT be covered or repaired under the guarantee.

The reason for bags being 0 or 00 stamped are many, with it often being impossible to find a fault. It may be stitching, damage to the furnishings, wrinkly leather etc. 0 denotes a lesser fault than 00.

The 0 or 00 will have been embossed into the oval/rectangular leather patch where the Mulberry logo is stamped or, if the bag does not have the patch it will be alongside the Mulberry logo.

This thread is to identify 0 or 00 bags which the seller has NOT declared as being a sub. To enable buyers to make an informed purchase, as there are many resellers who buy these bags at significantly discounted prices and then try to sell them at or close to first quality prices without disclosing the bag is substandard.

Single zero will be repaired, double zero will not be repaired for the original fault (if known), but will be repaired for other faults.
