What's the LV Bible?

OK, sorry if this seems like a stupid post, but I really don't know :s

I've seen listings for it on Ebay or "heard" someone on here refer to it, but what is it actually?

Is it like a regurlar magazine, a fan-zine or is it made my Vuitton? where do they come from? I think most I've seen where chinese or japanese?

You can tell: I'm confused

I have 2 of those in japanese. I don´t know where it actually comes from but they have many pics of different styles of bags and accessories.

It's not a magazine made by LV, it's just a regular magazine dedicated to designer handbags. Some of them will have a compilation of Hermes, Chanel, Balenciaga, LV etc. and some will be specific, like just LV.

And yes you are correct, most of them are in Japanese or Chinese, I guess because the designer market is bigger in Asia hence they publish these "bibles"

Haha, I don't think there are thousands, maybe hundreds . I don't have any I particularly recommend but most of them are good anyway, major eye candy in all of them

You must get the birth of Modern luxury...It's the cheapest you can get from LV..very informative and great as coffe table.

My first LV (April 06) was a very limited handbag and not only did I not get a "bible" I had to go back to get the regular catalog!

You don't get a bible when you purchase LE pieces, what I meant was in the bible, you can see all the limited edition items that you can't see in normal catalog.

i got one thats 1998-2000. it got all the style and even discontinued ones with coloured pictures and the price in hong kong (even 2nd hand store's price) its amazing!
