Wow. I can' t remember. I thought that this bag is out of the collection in Paris. The last time i saw one was 2 years ago.
the nyc store told me that they come in batches. none for a long time, sometimes as long as a year, and then they'll get 6-9, and then those will sit in the store for a while and then all of a sudden they will seem to sell all at once, so my little bag gets a bit of attention from the SAs if they've been there a while and can recognize it as one of their own.
when my dh bought it over 3 years ago it was just over 3k i think (it's lined in leather - the massai is a bigger bag, with more hardware, but it is lined in silk, which keeps the price lower then the cacahuette).
