That made me laugh so much Asa! For my floopy bags I use a Purseket. It kind of props them up and keeps them from totally collapsing on themselves. I don't have a Birkin but I think it might help.

At first I thought, "Oh no, they're squishing Birkins like last year on the runway." What a laugh I got!

I've heard of hanging Birkins filled with books so they keep they're shape. Never done anything except put tissue paper in before I stow in dust bag.

I don't have anything to add. I have the same problem. I always store bags lik this stuffed though.

I say leave them just as they are while using them (or toss in a Purseket to help organize your belongings and add some structure) and consider doing what I do with mine when they're not in use. Stuff a beautifully covered travel pillow inside! Works like a charm!

i have the same prob hiks, so i use the chamaleon purse organizer which helps, and now i always stuff my birkin with papers
