How do you define "vintage" with Gucci bags?

Can someone please clarify what are the specific requirements for a Gucci bag to be considered vintage? Thanks!

I don't know if there are "official" requirements... perhaps it depends on the age of the owner! I'm in my 20's, so I'd consider anything pre-1989 to be pretty "vintage", but wait for otehr opinions. I have a few bags from the 80s and I DEFINITELY would consider them "vintage"... sounds better than just old!

Thanks for your input. Would a bag from 1999 be considered vintage? Or is it too early?

Vintage is just a loose term, you can basically use it for anything of any age. It's like a nicer way of saying "old" or "used."

Oohh I didn't know that...I thought something had to be 20 years for it to be vintage
