Hi girls,

I'm baaaack. Hubby's doing great (well, besides the recent melanoma diagnosis) and his MRIs for his past brain tumor are still clean. We've made it past and just celebrated his first year cancer free, woot!

Anywho, we're on a little overnighter in our fave place, just having a relaxing night at the casino. He's playing some poker, and I just got back from the outlet. And I came home with the large leather Carly in parchment! ACK!

I absolutely fell in love with this color combo when it first came out. By the time I had the $$ to buy it, it was gone. I never thought I could pull off the large size (I'm 5'2" and 110) but when I looked at myself in the mirror at the outlet, I was doomed. Since it was the only one, I snagged it to think.

Now that I'm alone in the hotel, I'm having second thoughts. Even at outlet price it's the most I've ever spent on a bag!! Talk me into, or out of it ;) I have about 18 hrs before checkout and going home time lol.

Congrats on your husband's clean bill of health!!

Keep the Carly! I love the richness of the leather against the parchment. And you deserve it. But I'm biased, it's my HG bag lol. I just got it off daBay but had I known it was at the outlets again I would have waited myself. If you don't mind answering, how much was it?

You love it, so KEEP IT! If you leave it behind, you will probably end up regretting it!

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?

Congrats on your hubby making it through a year cancer free!!!

Keep the carly. You might not find one like it again and then you will regret it. Plus leather is the best. It wears better and you can enjoy it for a long time.
Congrats on your DH being cancer free for a year.

glad to hear that your husband is doing well!

and - you're here because you want enabling, and enable I will - KEEP IT! my large leather carly was my first >$200 bag and I waffled after taking it home but I am SOOOO glad I kept it!

It ended up being like, 360-something  So yea...a lot of money lol. I already had the camel carly that I got at rock bottom clearance because of a slight pink stain, and I went in there to get the sig and plum carly until I realized it was the slim carly (which I don't like as much).

And then, there she was *sigh*. She's out in the trunk in her wrapping..I needed to separate myself for a minute LOL. Hubby said, "it's not THAT much different then the one you have!".

Ummm hello? Are you blind? Speaking of hubby, his melanoma was basically a stage 1a, the very first..so in the scheme of things, it's nothin! Let's hope he wins a lot of money at his poker so I don't feel so guilty ;)

The Large Parchment Carly is a classy bag! It was originally $498 plus tax, so $360 is a good deal! I would keep it if you'll use it. Don't guilt yourself out of it though. If you love it, keep it.

I'm glad to hear that your husband is doing well.

Everybody wants a Carly and we all know that you want it too. Enjoy your first bag that's this expensive, it's a once in a life time experience and you'll fine yourself always regretting it if you choose to return it. so, don't! take my word for it! i'm glad to hear that your hubby has been cancer free for 1 year, praise the Lord.

hope you have fun at your fav. place! the casino!

hmmmmm..i can relate...i don't know if u have kids or not but i always feel guilty when i'm overly decadent on myself...but the truth is honey u deserve it! i mean going thru health issues with a spouse is tough...i only have a bf...but i'd die if something happened 2 him...good luck and keep the bag honey...

Congrats on the one year cancer-free...that's a wonderful accomplishment!!! Hard to give advise on the Carly. It's a good deal for that particular bag (that particularly GORGEOUS bag), but only you know if you can "afford" it and whether you think the price is worth it. But here's hoping hubby wins at least $800 so you can split the winnings and not feel guilty about Carly

I actually have 5 kids and I lived for years in my last marriage with nothing nice to my name. New hubby has convinced me that it's ok to indulge occasionally (see why I love him?). I thought for sure he'd flip out but he basically said, "if you can pay it back I'm not going to tell you how to spend your money".

Good boy
