Yes unfortunately they do and this number is one that appears in way too many auctions.

What is your response based on (serial number). Are you sure that no Chanel Bags would have this number? I read so many conflicting things about authenticating Chanel items, I don't know what to believe. Even the trusted "authenticators" have conflicting information. Is there a Chanel expert that works for the company that could provide concrete information about Chanel items.
