Modeling pics of bags from Bag, Borrow, & Steal

I checked out the website, & they have fabulous, I mean really fabulous bags. If you click on the Sex in the City trends, you will be drooling over the Chanel bags & jewelry. There is a cute test to take that will tell you which SITC star is most like you, & they have pics of bags & accessories for each star. Both of these bags are Carrie. I decided to give it a try, only to test drive bags for future purchase. I began with the Ice Cube flap & Prada rose bag. The Chanel was $100./week, & the Prada $77./week. I know that's high, but it is better than purchasing an expensive bag, only to find out it isn't you. Anyway, I plan on buying both of these bags, the Prada is on the way from NM, & the bonus is that it matches my new Louboutins. I will probably get the ice cube bag next week at the Chanel trunk show. Anyway, here are pics of the lovely bags:

heyy thats a very great and fun idea for future bags! and specially if you dont know how they would look after the buy and stuff like that.. that prada in pink looks hot and that chanel as well very cute.

It's such a great idea to borrow bags and try them out first. Then for sure you know if that bag's a keeper!!

These are the 2 bags that I'm deciding on. I was thinking about the tote, but I'm leaning more towards the flap now. The flap is a good size, & is light to carry. I'm just worried about the plastic over the silver material. Also the closure is clear plastic also. Has anyone with this bag had any problem with the plastic getting scratched or discolored? The "steal" price at BBorS was $1,980. I don't remember the retail price. Anyone know?

Swanky, I ordered the Prada rose bag from Shannon (NM Chanel Specialist at Plano,TX). She said that someone else called & ordered the same bags (ice cube & prada) that she had seen on BBorS. I thought that was crazy.

Okay Carrie and Samantha is so my style and Charlotte has the jewelry I would wear....so I probably do some shopping on that site.

Btw, I love the icecube Chanel on you and that Prada pink is gorgeous. I would get the smaller cube bag.

I have the other ice cube bag...the "clutch" with the zippered top.
I love it. I believe the flap retailed for around $1600 or $1700. The big tote was more like $3,000.

I like the tote, but I also think its a bit too much, KWIM?
The flap looks great on you!!! So does the pink Prada.

Oh and I I have not had any problems with my ice cube at all..no discoloration...peelings etc. Its vinyl, yes, but it will be in good condition if you treat it right!

Yes, it is so much fun looking at the different styles of all the women. I'm probably more Carrie, but I love some of Samantha's accessories too. I'm really leaning towards the smaller cube bag! Thanks for your advise!

Thanks, I'm thinking that the tote might be too much of a good thing. I carried the flap today, & it was so easy to use. I used the one strap & made it longer. Worked great. :tup:

Thanks. I was thinking about returning the shoes, till I got the Prada. Now I have to keep both. I measured the heel & its about 2 1/2" , & 3" from the floor to the top of the shoe. It is the Kika sandal, & I got them from NM online. I had to size waaaaaaaay up, from a 38.5 to a 40.
