What is the most you have ever paid for a comforter?
I am looking for a new comforter and my husband thinks
the one I love cost tooooo much???

Couple hundred bucks. Then it ripped a month later in the washing machine (and it was machine washable). Still upset over it.

$250 but I never regretted it for a moment. Once you splurge and by quality bedding in a good threadcount, you can never go back!

I wish I could help you out convincing your hubby, but I am decorating our entire house and DH (yeah, I mean damn husband) has got me on financial lockdown. I bought my duvets from Costco, Marshalls, etc.... DH is tighter that Scrooge McDuck's butt.

I recently got a new comforter it was in the 600 region I think. Came with a bed skirt (i think thats what it is called) and 3 shams. The one I had prior to that was way more expensive and an italian label, it was lovely. But after it got cleaned as per its instructions the color was never the same. Very disappointed in the end.
