Lock HELP

I just got my speedy damier azur. The lock looks horrible. What can i do? Its black in different areas.

If you are near a boutique you can take it in for an exchange. Otherwise you will have to get brass polish. This happenned to me before...I purchased a brand new lock...got home and it was already discolored! I don't live near a store so I had to do a great deal of complaining to get a new one shipped out to me for no charge. LV really should inspect each new lock before giving it to a customer and have brass cleaner on hand. Good luck!

Do you think they will have a problem exchanging the lock? It's ridic. that I pay so much for a bag and the lock looks horrific. I am going to call

Well I took it back and they gave me a new one, but proceeded to tell me that it is something that will happen eventually anway.

It is something that will happen eventually. While the lock sits in it's little box on a shelf, it oxidizes, especially if the A/C is being used in the building. If you receive a dirty lock, you can easily shine it up with a polishing cloth or a little bit of metal polish and a clean cloth.

Thanks for letting me know. It's just that I feel since I just got it, Iwanted something shiny and new. But, I have learned my lesson
