Popincourt Haut - How does it feel?

Just a quick question ...
I forgot to look when I was in the store on Tuesday, and couldn't find an answer in existing threads ...
Is it stiff like the ellipse? or more "flexible" like the speedys?
Sag factor at all?

Not stiff at all. The base is structured so that it won't crush like a speedy - but not hard like an ellipse. More like a saleya with seams. No real sag factor as there is a seam running around the sides of the bottom giving it shape.

I have this bag and it's a little too structured for me. It's not terribly stiff like the ellipse though.

I have sold all my bags except this one. I think it's a little of both. Supple yet stands up on the table. I think it's a great size. The brass balls clink whenever you walk so if that bothers you, you might not want to get it. I kinda like them clinking!

seconded...this bag does not sag at all and it's definitely not stiff.

This is one of my mainstay bags and I would definitely recommend it. It's not to structured, and not too saggy, it's just right!

Would one say the Popincourt has the same flexibility/sag as the Cabas bags (which looks slightly stiff to me)?

I only have a Speedy and thought the canvasweight were the same for all bags. Is it because the linings are stiffer or do they use different canvasweights??
