how to turn a keychain into a purse charm??

hey guys, im continuing my preparation for my new speedy damier 30 (omg im so sneaky , listen to this... i just called eluxury and i tell the woman that i wanted to order the bag but i dont know if my bf ordered it for me already.. so she checked, and he she tells me " if i where you, i wouldnt order the bag .. hint hint)

anyways.. back to the topic, i know that a lot of bag charms are actually key chains example:

• "Can be used as a bag charm" - eluxury

how?? do i have to connect it to something? because when i think of a bag charm , this is what i think of: that opening thing on top.. im so confuzzled! please help

With the 1st one you push the bottom part up and twist it and it reveals an opening in the circle enbling you to attach it to your bag. I know this doesn't make much sense but I don't know how else to explain it. I have the Glitter Key Ring, aka Disco Ball that has the same kind of loop and I hang it on all my bags. Hope this sorta helps.
