The straps split open on my two day old leigh

I have had this bag for two days and both straps are splitting open. Actually one did slpit open so you could see the inside of the leather. Apparently the edge of the strap, the trim, is paint. The paint just cam eoff and the strap opened up. Coach exchanged my bag but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I've never had this problem with any of my COACH bags, but it's nice to hear that COACH accommodated you. I hope you have better luck this time!

OHHH....

the legacy line is suppose to have the edges wrapped with with a small strip of leather which is stitched onto the handle...i know that the 2007 shoulder bag does...

oh no!! I'm so happy that Coach is so customer-services oriented and that you had no problem returning it. Now I'm going to check mine out extra carefully when it arrives!! I had to order mine since the stores are pretty much sold out. Were they able to replace yours on the spot, or do you have to wait to reorder?

There was one on ebay a few weeks ago that had the same problem... it was marked Final Sale.

I'm glad that Coach took care of you but why did this happen in the first place? I'd be devastated to spend that kind of money only to have it fall apart 2 days later. How awful for you!
